Mother vs. Daughter Photoshop Challenge!

Haley wanted to create her first scrapbook page... so here is her version.  Very creative and quite impressive for an 8 yr. olds first try!  (click to see a larger image)

Knitting... not right now. Digital scrapbooking... YES!!!!

I've discovered digital scrapbooking using Photoshop Elements.  Not much of a learning curve for me as I work with on-line training development software as a main component of my job. 

This is my new obsession! 

I only have about 2,000 digital pics I can use right now and 2,000 pictures that I will have to scan soon - to do my kids baby books.

Mopeds!

Mark found two mopeds on Craig's List - both for $25!

Not working but probably could be fixed up... well, he's got one working perfectly and the other is under construction in our driveway right now.

Kids are in heaven!  Logan has named his 'Night Hawk'. 

Michael Buble concert 6.26.10 Sprint Center, KC MO

Went to the Michael Buble concert with my mom and sister this last weekend.  Had a lot of fun. 

Saw him in Wichita last year, but this one was far better.

Hot air balloons on our street!!!!

We had two hot air balloons land one block from our house this evening...

what's cool is this is a pretty normal thing.  Happens about six times during the summer. 

We still run outside and act like we've never seen it before - take pics each time.  Kids love it!

Backyard Landscaping Project

Mark worked his magic and in two days over this long Memorial Day weekend - transformed our backyard.

Mission accomplished - master bedroom = hella tidy and clean.
Tomorrow is the walk-in closet's turn. It's 4pm. All housework done - Haley's on a swimming play-date, house is nicely quiet; Logan is still not feeling well - rented five Red Box movies for him. Mark's embarking on a large landscaping adventure this late afternoon.
No sports weekend = bliss!!!!!!
